Some things you should know about me is that I am an avid reader and writer, a lover of art and the outdoors, and I put high value on self-expression and individuality. I love coffee shops, travelling, music, and cats. I grew up on a farm in the small town of Winchester, KY, and came to Morehead for college.

   

   At Morehead, I worked in the housing department for 2 years as a Resident Advisor, a summer Conference Assistant, and a Student Director. In each of these placements, I acquired excellent skills of leadership, initiative, and learned to place high value on community and diversity. I couldn't have chosen a better job to prepare me for my job as a teacher.

   I hope to apply the things that I've learned about my profession, people and myself in college to my classroom, and I also plan to keep an open mind. Feel free to come to me at any time with any concerns that you may have throughout the year.
